This role focusses on improvements in services which support residents, working across homelessness, housing, immigration, public health, and children and adults social care.

The Role

This role has become necessary to support the focus on digital and more user-centric systems transformation as an essential part of developing the best ways to deliver our wide range of essential public services.

Create user journey map derived from qualitative research with users.
Supporting presentation and communication findings
Supporting research a suit of organisational and technical environment in users work.
Supporting research to inform user-centric service design and delivery practices
Supporting planning designing and conducting usability testing sessions to support design and development of digital services
Supporting the usability testing process from developing user recruitment briefs through to test moderation analysis and report writing.The Candidate

The candidate will need to be able to demonstrate analytical skills and qualitative research methods.

Key requirements:

Minimum 2.1 undergraduate degree in Psychology, Computer degree, Design background
Ideally experienced with MS packages
Strong use of research methods and data and intelligence analysis skills
Strong people skills
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
An ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
Ability to work and deliver within a project structure.
Time management and prioritisation skills are highly important along with a strong attention to detail.Application Process:
