Trainee Sales / Graduate Sales

The role will suit an articulate, self-driven and eager to learn individual who would like to either begin their career in business development or who is now looking for their next career challenge in this area. We are looking for individuals with a sales background (or an interest in technology) and a logical problem-solving mindset to work closely with the Business Development Manager.

The Sales Executive is an important and varied role within our business and would suit an ambitious and personable graduate or trainee, who is looking to take their first step into a Sales and Marketing environment. Full product training will be provided for the successful applicant. You will enjoy full training and regular performance related pay rises.

Based in Shipton on Stour, Warwickshire, this is an ideal environment for a junior salesperson to learn, develop and excel in new business development whilst being surrounded by a supportive and vibrant organisation. You will gain exposure to new technologies and be responsible for helping grow the company.

Person Profile

We are opening this vacancy to recent graduates with 6 months commercial experience as well college leavers with a passion for sales potentially seeking their next career move. You will join a small sales team and therefore personality fit will be crucial. In order to be successful in this role it is vital that you show a keen interest in IT and sales as well as possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Outbound B2B telesales to identify named individuals within target companies
Telephone appointment setting and booking in WebEx software demonstrations
Contact and follow up on early stage leads to secure meetings for sales team
Online research to identify suitable businesses and contacts for prospecting, email and direct marketing
Maintain and update information on CRM system
Social media maintenance

Strongly proactive in approach and ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
Attention to detail and problem solving with a logical mind
