Roma Black are currently working with an established manufacturing company in the Havant area who are looking for a Trainee or Graduate Applications Engineer to join their team.
We are looking for someone who is technically minded with excellent IT and communication skills.

Responsibilities of a Sales / Applications Engineer:
Review sales enquiries and prepare quotations
Provide technical support to customers and internal departments
Carry out commercial and technical reviews of orders
Order processing and updating the system
Assist in the production and updating of sales literature including brochures, IOM instructions and prices
Occasional customer site visits to provide technical support to sales team Essential Background/Skills of a Sales / Applications Engineer:
Experience in of knowledge of technical sales, engineering design, applications engineering or production engineering would be a distinct advantage
Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar would be desirable
Any knowledge of product design or CAD software would be beneficial
Competent using Microsoft Office
Full UK Driving Licence Features and Benefits:
37 hour working week Monday to Friday with some flexibility on start / finish times
