One of our local interior build contractor clients have a great opportunity for either a graduate or trainee to work within their very busy shelving business.
The role will involve working / shadowing a General Manager, carrying out various tasks including coordinating with various sites;
– breakdown of client drawings and produce accurate quotations
– ordering of shelving equipment from suppliers and checking profit margins
– delivering programming and scheduling and client invoicing
– obtaining quotes for materials issuing purchase orders
– liaising with customers and suppliers
– maintaining of warehouse stock control spreadsheets and produce tracking sheets
– updating cost spreadsheets including profit margins
– good telephone manner
– picking stock materials and regularly assist in loading/unloading materials
– general stock taking duties
Ideally this role would suit either a graduate or trainee with 1-2 years experience to join a busy niche business in the Southampton/Eastleigh region with full training and mentoring can be given, also for the right person there is genuine progression within this well established family business.
