They specialise in many building sectors such as high end residential, education, heritage, leisure & commercial projects for both private and public sector clients.
Overview:
This organisation is looking for Trainee, Graduate, Assistant & Intermediate Quantity Surveyors to join their office in Winchester. As a client facing QS, you’ll be assisting more Senior colleagues with the following duties:
* Providing clients with project budgets by undertaking Feasibility Studies and Cost Plans
* Preparation of tender packs
* Tender review and providing recommendations on appointment of main contractors
* Preparation of main contract (usually JCT)
* Contract administration throughout project
* Taking meeting minutes
* Settling disputes as and when they arise
* Cost reporting
* Settling final accounts
You’ll be working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors who will provide training to help develop your career in the long term.
Requirements:
* Have experience in a client facing role previously (desirable but not essential)
* Have experience in working within the built environment
* Have a Quantity Surveying related degree (or working towards this)
