Package: £26,000 – experienced assessor (£24-25K for Haz Waste Chemist /£20-22K Graduate)

ROLE: Technical Assessor – Hazardous Waste
You will use your knowledge of chemistry to assess incoming waste streams based on information provided by the sales team, ensure they are classified correctly and identify correct cost of disposal
This role does not involve a great deal of physical chemistry and mainly draws upon applying your chemistry knowledge
EXPERIENCE: Technical Assessor – Hazardous Waste
You will either be a hazardous waste experienced Technical Assessor, Hazpak or Site Chemist, or A Chemistry Graduate looking for their first career step
You will have a good standard of verbal and written communication, and be competent in Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience of directly interfacing with a client would be desirable.
YOU WILL HAVE an HNC in Chemistry or higher. Related Subjects e.g. Biology or Forensics will be considered at degree level where sufficient Chemistry modules were included.

WAMITAB COTC
IOSH of NEBOSH safety qualification or similar
