The Role – History Graduate Teaching Assistant

You will utilise all your skills in a classroom environment, observing the class teacher and working with low and high achieving students on a 1:1 and small group basis. This will allow you to create good relationships with staff and students as you gain the confidence to explore different teaching techniques which will support both needs educationally and personally. The History Graduate Teaching Assistant will eventually be able to create and deliver your own engaging pre-planned lessons, giving you a great transition as you later explore teacher training routes for the next following academic year.
