Person Specification
The right candidate for this Primary teaching Assistant position will be a nurturing and amiable graduate who has already spent time in a similar role. All applicants should possess the natural ability and skills to work with and support primary aged children coupled with a genuine and focused passion for education. The school needs a graduate TA who has a readiness to experience every aspect of school life and contribute to extra-curricular activities. The right applicant will have a natural desire to become a future star of teaching and have the drive to learn as much as possible from this year long in school experience. The perfect candidate will be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the welfare of their pupils through unwavering support in the social and emotional elements to school life. A positive and responsible character would work well in this role and blend in with the current team dynamics.

About the Role
In this Primary Teaching Assistant position you will be working within one, as yet unfinalised, class, assisting lessons under the direction of the class teacher. In this post you will be participating in or leading small interventions for literacy and numeracy, where strength is required in terms of your own subject knowledge. Your role will also include working and developing through the clear advice and direction of an approachable SENCO who is well liked throughout the school and is the perfect person to help support you in your own development as a future Teacher and Educator. Your duties will include assisting teachers throughout the school wherever you are needed as well as actively looking to get involved with the schools clubs and extra curricular activities. This fantastic opportunity and position will see you gain a wealth of experience across the whole school, as all staff are actively encouraged to become part of all school life.
