Supply Chain Co-ordinator – Graduate Opportunity – Oldham
Park Cakes is a c£180million business which supplies cake and desserts to service the own brands of major retailers, there are two sites both based in the North West at Oldham and Bolton.
Our products include, high end celebration cake products, slab cakes and mainstream desserts, we mostly supply Marks & Spencer's although we also supply other major retailers.

This is a role that would suit a graduate who has some experience of work, who is a confident, self starter.
Example Accountabilities
Working for the Oldham site as the key Supply Chain contact for the management of demand, inventory and fulfilment for key Major Multiple customers including International customers.
End-to-end Supply Chain including the NPD process ensuring the wider team are kept up to speed with launches. This will include understanding and new supply chain routes for new customers.
Ensure that Park Cakes Supply Chain is accountable and suitably represented to build and maintain a strong and collaborative customer relationship.
The export process for new/existing International customers e.g North America /Australia
Ongoing planning forecast maintenance ensuring MRP is accurate
Ad hoc management of short-term requests and queries from both internal and external sourcesCandidate Profile
Self-motivated and confident Graduate with some work experience preferred
Able to work in a fast moving dynamic environment
Comfortable using the telephone as a key communication tool
Strong customer service focus
Good level of computer literacy especially with Microsoft Office programmes
Comfortable with data analysis
Problem solving with strong and decisive decision makingHours: Broadly 7am – 4pm but there will be some requirement outside these hours on an ad-hoc basis to manage customers' requirements
Package: Salary is flexible dependent upon experience and is competitive, 25 days holiday a year and 8 statutory holidays, Money purchase pension scheme with 4% contribution of salary
