Are you a graduate in logistics or supply chain? Are you looking to complete a CIPS qualification? We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Supply Chain Coordinator (Graduate Level) based in Northumberland to join a global manufacturer of safety equipment. Working Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm and 8am-2.40pm on Fridays! (37.5 hours). Paying a salary of up to £25K plus paid overtime (Saturday mornings) + excellent benefits.
Reporting to the Principal Materials Controller, you will monitor the flow of materials throughout the supply chain within manufacturing and shipping. This is a small factory with only 25 people so you will work closely with finance, operations, and engineering teams to ensure raw materials and transport are organised efficiently, regular stock takes are completed, all export documentation are finalised and liaise regularly with customers, freight carriers and suppliers. You will supervise a Warehouse Operative, so any experience in management or supervision will be beneficial (not essential).
This role would suit a graduate in Logistics or Supply Chain who has the ambition to compete a CIPS qualification. You must have the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure. This role involves a constant flow of deadlines and a fluctuating work schedule, so the ability to multitask and keep a clear head is essential to succeed. Strong IT skills is essential, experience of using an ERP system would be advantageous.
