Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant – York

The Job Role:

Supporting Primary and Secondary students in all curriculum areas
Working 1:1 with identified pupils, in order to encourage participation 
Managing behaviour in-line with the School's Positive Reward policy 
Assisting class teachers with the delivery of English, Maths and Science 
Engaging pupils in whole School life by establishing positive relationships and rapport

Ideal Requirements:

A Degree in Sports Coaching or Sports Science – 2:1 or higher ideally
Experience supporting pupils in a classroom or coaching environment
Knowledge of the national curriculum in order to support Key Stage 3 and GCSE lessons
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Full Time availability, Monday to Friday (Apply online only)
