Tradewind Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity to join a "Good" Alternative Provision Secondary School in Blackpool. We are seeking an enthusiastic Sports Specialist Teaching Assistant to work closely with students in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
The Role:
As a Sports Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the educational experience for students within this Alternative Provision setting. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting students in various sports and physical activities, fostering their physical and emotional development.
Assisting classroom teachers with planning and delivering sports-focused lessons.
Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional guidance in sports-related activities.
Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment where students of all abilities can thrive.
Collaborating with the wider school community, including parents and staff, to ensure the holistic development of students.
Contributing to the school's extracurricular sports activities and events.Requirements:
Relevant experience in sports coaching, teaching assistance, or a related field.
Passion for working with young people and a commitment to their overall growth and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and engage students in sports and physical activities.
Resilience and adaptability in supporting students with diverse needs.
