Connect the country as a software graduate in sales

As a software graduate in sales you'll be delivering the behind-the-scenes technology that keeps our country running. Capita Software are one of the UK's largest software companies and a market leader in delivering smart digital and software solutions. We specialise in education, automation, payments and critical communications software, with a client list that includes the Metropolitan Police, Network Rail, Tesco, HMRC and the NHS. Together, we can deliver software that will influence the future.

What you'll be doing:

On our two-year graduate programme you'll collaborate with industry leaders to build your technical and soft skills, and grow your business knowledge. It all starts with a two-day induction in our London office, where you'll meet with senior leaders. Throughout your time on the programme you'll benefit from ongoing coaching sessions, networking events, skills training and help with development.

Working across multiple areas of Capita Software, you will have the opportunity to get involved in different aspects of the sales cycle
You will learn about each product and business unit and use this knowledge to generate leads, demo software and contribute to the pipeline / revenue stream
Taking responsibility for client interactions and working on challenging projects
Learning from continuous feedback, training and coaching from the team

What we're looking for:

A 2:2 degree or higher (either achieved or expected to achieve within last 3 years)
A passion for sales
A strong interest in software and the curiosity to look for new ways to solve problems
An individual who's ambitious and self-motivated
Strong communication skills with an enthusiasm for working with others.
Organisational skills and an understanding of commercial business.

As we're a large organisation with offices throughout the UK, you'll also need to be prepared to travel and relocate from day 1. Relocation is essential if you are to be offered the role as you could be placed at any of our offices in the UK so please think about this when applying.

What we hope you'll do next:

Please include your extracurricular activities and additional responsibilities and you will need to attach a short submission responding to the following question in no more than 500 words: 'why do you want to work for Capita Software and what interests you about the profession?'. If you're successful there will be a telephone interview, followed by an assessment centre. We expect to close applications by 21st February and for the first round of interviews to be completed by 20th March. Our assessment centres will take place on the 23rd April in Coventry. Offers will be made by the 30th April. The start date will be early September 2020.
