Excellent daily pay rateEmpowering Learning is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work within a Secondary Alternative Provision based in Hackney. The ideal candidate must be an Performing Arts Graduate as you will be assisting with alternative learning methods in a classroom capacity. You will also need to be comfortable dealing with challenging behaviour and be able to show a calm approach to this behaviour. Experience of working with children or adults in an education setting isn't essential but is desirable. This role will involve supporting the pupils with basic subjects, as well as social aspects of school life, and you will support them by helping them stay focused and achieve their full potential in a classroom-based setting.
