Role: Science Graduate
Location: Bury
Qualiteach is looking for a number of science graduates to deliver tutoring sessions at a mainstream secondary school in Bury. The roles will start with immediate effect and are offered on a part-time basis – 9am – 12 pm from 3 to 5 days per week depending upon availability.
The roles will involve tutoring secondary age pupils at KS3 & KS4 on both a 1-1 and small group basis. You will need to be proficient in science and confident and capable at tutoring students up to GCSE level. You will need to be able to quickly and effectively engage and build rapport with these pupils. The school are happy to consider graduates with a degree in physics, chemistry, biology or similar science based subject.
Key Requirements:
Able to tutor students in science up to GCSE level
Have a passion for science
Hold a degree in science or higher
Able to work with pupils on a 1-1 and small group basis
Excellent communication skills
Ability to quickly build rapport
Immediately available and able to work from 9am – 12pm
