THE SCIENCE TEACHING ASSISTANT POSTS INFORMATION:
A popular school located in Camden are seeking teaching assistants to join the department and assist the teachers and students within the classroom. The ideal Graduate will be a clear communicator, someone dedicated, be a good role model and be passionate about building rapport with students.

degree qualified
Good GCSE GradesHOURS OF EMPLOYMENT
8:30am – 4:00pm
Monday – Friday
Full-time You will also need eligibility to work in the UK and be willing to apply for DBS disclosure.
WHAT DOES THE SCIENCE TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE INVOLVE:
The teaching role includes supporting the class teacher and students during lessons, 1:1 session, intervention groups and working with other departments. The lessons will have delivered to all year groups Key Stage 3, Key stage 4, and the desire to work with Key Stage 5 is preferable but not essential.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF MY ROLE AS A SCIENCE GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT?
As a teaching assistant, you will be exposed to students of various abilities, you will need to analyse data and build up your ability to raise attainment using skills, lesson plans, numeracy, and literacy tasks to raise attainment. Again, this will build your knowledge of how students are monitored, data is analysed, and attainment is raised, and students are managed more effectively by teachers. As a Science graduate teaching assistant, you'll learn and implement strategies to support students engage with the curriculum.
