My client is a market-leader in the shipping industry and has offices based across the world (in Germany, Spain, USA & more recently in the Far East). You will be joining a fast-pace environment assisting in finding logistics solutions for some of the world's largest industrial, retail & FMCG based customers. My client focuses on searching air freight, sea freight & road freight solutions, which are both cost effective & time sensitive.
Description
As a Sales & Commercial Graduate you will be joining a team of commercial and shipping experts, reporting into the Commercial Director. You will be responsible for the following areas in the Nottingham office:
As you transition into logistics sales & commercials, you will build and grow a client portfolio using commercial information to identify organisations that have current or future recruitment needs ranging from global multi-nationals through to SME's
Market map to identify areas of growth/competitor spend and work to win the business
Develop client contact strategies and conduct business development calls
Schedule and attend pitches with prospective clients
Consult and engage with clients to understand their needs and sell the most appropriate solution for their logistics and sales needs
Networking in industry, sector and specialism to become an expert in your market.Profile
The successful Sales & Commercial Graduate will first & foremost have a passion to join the Logistics & Supply Chain sectors, along with the following extra attributes:
A Degree (2:2 minimum)
Work experience around sales, commerical and / or logistics & supply chain sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
A flair for providing high levels of engagement and customer service to high-value accounts
The ability to commute to Nottingham on a daily basisJob Offer
