Be you. Be empowered. Be a Transport for Wales graduate.
First things first: we are Transport for Wales (TfW), the not-for-profit company proudly transforming Wales’ transport network. We’re here to keep the country moving safely, but what we do is far more than simply getting passengers from A to B. We positively impact countless people, communities and businesses – and now it’s your chance to do the same.
On our two-year Risk Analysis Graduate Scheme, you’ll be part of a talented multi-disciplinary team that champions risk management across many of our vital infrastructure projects. And with a blend of practical experience, formal learning, workshops and webinars, you’ll build up the skills and knowledge to get your career off to a flying start.
This is a role packed full of responsibility and opportunity: you’ll monitor and evaluate risk reporting streams to produce clear, concise risk management reports for the project teams. You’ll also co-ordinate frequent Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) reviews to understand the level of project uncertainty. It’s how, with your help, we’ll be able to successfully deliver projects that bring lasting benefits up and down the country.
Proactive and organised, you’ll balance competing priorities and stay on top of your to-do list. You’ll be a natural at communicating with others, making sure everyone’s kept in the loop and has what they need. With a degree (or equivalent) in Risk Management, you’ll have already honed your analytical skills, but you’ll also constantly find new ways to learn and grow.
It might all sound like a lot, but the reality is, you’ll get a lot back too. For starters, there’s the great benefits, including 28 days’ holiday, gym membership and retail discounts. Then there’s the fact that, here, you’ll make your mark at a company that supports and encourages you wholeheartedly. After all, this is a place where you’ll be empowered to do amazing things for the people of Wales – and for yourself.
