Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant (Part-time)

Here at GSL Education North Yorkshire, we are looking to recruit a number of Psychology Graduates for a client school based in York to work as a Part-Time Teaching Assistant. You will be working with Primary and Secondary aged pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, who have social, emotional, and mental health needs.
This is a part-time role that entails 3 days per week, with an immediate commencement.

To be successful, you must:
Hold a BSc Psychology Degree with a 2:1 classification or higher.
Be knowledgeable on how to successfully manage complex behaviours linked to Autism, Mental Health Needs, Learning Difficulties, and SEMH.
Be able to quickly engage and build rapport with pupils.
Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.
Hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to complete one through GSL Education.
