Person Specification
This role requires a passionate graduate who has already held either a school-based position through placement or has gained experience working with Special Educational Needs offering assessment or support. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have earned an upper second-class degree or better.

The school want to meet a SEN Teaching Assistant who has the capability to help students feel at ease in school through your caring approach to pupil development. You will have the ability to demonstrate you have the empathy, drive and patience to work with children who have additional needs.

About the Role
This is an exciting role for a recent Psychology graduate who will gain vast experience in supporting the complex needs of primary aged pupils. The school have an opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child with specific needs and offers graduates experience supporting various pupils 1:1 throughout the academic year. This means that as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will progress on to the next stage of your career with experience with both KS1 and KS2 pupils!
