Are you a recent graduate looking to work in a local primary school? Do you have experience supporting Special Educational Needs?
LTF are currently looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Y1 student with ASD. This would be on a 121 basis with some intervention support with groups of learners. The role would be starting in September 2022. The school has a high proportion of SEN students and are known for the ongoing support they give to their staff and children. The school has great facilities, a motivating environment, and great opportunities of CPD for all their staff.
The role would be on a full-time basis, 5 days per week between the hours of 8:30am – 4:00pm.
This role would be suit someone who is confident and has background knowledge based around supporting ASD and who is interested in pursuing this as a career. You may be required to support the child mentally and emotionally. The contract will begin on a long term until the end of the academic year, for the right candidate this will be made permanent throughout this time.
