Our LSA role is based in the heart of Leatherhead, set in a specialist Autistic Primary school, aged 3- 11 with a couple of exceptions as it caters for a couple of secondary students

If you are an aspiring Education or Clinical psychologist, this is a good role to build your experience and foundations with students that have severe Autism, even Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties. No matter who you are, it can sometimes be a jolt when you start work within the field, you are going to see circumstances that you will not have come across before. It's how you react and then learn from those situations that will decide if this is the industry for you.

Would you like to increase your experience working with SEN pupils of varying degree of ability and behaviour? All pupils will have Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues, every pupil will have an EHCP.

The school will provide some Education and Training; Academics will give you the option of online training.

***Working with students with varying degrees of autism and social anxiety. All students will have an EHCP

***Working side by side with the class teacher, large focus on diversity and the political and social aspects of the students

*** Psychology Graduate in Leatherhead – will be working with like minded graduates, similar objectives

***Must have at least an A* to C/9-4 (new grading system) for GSCE English and Maths.

***Working closely with class teachers on pupil's IEPs, studying data and seeing as a SEN Teaching Assistant where you can help make improvements

***Public transport only for this school – close to good underground and Bus stations

***As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with pupil's parents sometimes, parent evenings, keeping on top of their behavioural patterns and ensuring good work carried out at school is continued in the home
