The Head of Science at a supportive Secondary school in Havering is looking for a Physics graduate and aspiring science teacher to join their department as an Academic Mentor to support GCSE and A-level Students.

This Physics Graduate position is the ideal opportunity for a graduate who is thinking of applying for a Science PGCE or School Direct position as it will give you the skills and confidence inside the classroom before you start.

As a Physics Graduate, you will be supporting KS3 general Science and KS4 and KS5 Physics lesson and booster groups. Your main role will be to lead groups of around 10 pupils of either the most able pupils to challenge pupils. The school is well known for its support of aspiring pupils and they are able to offer you Teacher training to become a Science Teacher if you wish.
