Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit and appoint Newly Qualified Teachers and PGCE Graduations to work within primary schools in the Newport area. Here at Teaching Personnel, we collaboratively work with partnership schools to assist with their staffing requirements. Working in partnerships with primary schools is a huge benefit as we have been requested to source dedicated and devoted educators.
Teaching Personnel are proud to be working alongside the largest schools in Newport and are recruiting on their behalf. We are seeking Newly Qualified Teacher’s and PGCE Graduations to work throughout the summer term in both Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2. This is a huge benefit to you and gives you the opportunity to showcase your skills prior to the new academic year starting in September. Daily supply for an NQT/PGCE Graduate is a great opportunity for you to experience a variety of schools, get to know their ethos and will help you to decide on where you would like to pursue your teaching career.
As a newly qualified teacher you’ll be expected to:
Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
Maintain discipline
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
Essential Requirements:
Right to work within the UK
Hold a child only enhanced DBS Certificate
DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service
Registration with the Education Workforce Council
Able to provide 2 professional based references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
