Modern Foreign Languages graduates required from September 2020 to join the Graduate Teacher Internship  in Manchester. 

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with secondary schools across Greater Manchester to deliver a Graduate Teacher Internship. This programme supports Modern Foreign Languages graduates (French, Spanish, Italian, German) to gain invaluable secondary school based experience for one academic year before being supported onto a teacher training programme in September 2021. 

This position starts from September 2020, and is available within a number of secondary schools in Greater Manchester including Bury, Bolton, Salford, central/north Manchester and Rochdale. Full support and additional training will be available throughout this position. 

– Full-time MFL Graduate Teacher Internship available, September 2020 start dates.

– Available within a number of secondary schools across Greater Manchester including Bury, Bolton, Salford, Rochdale, central/north Manchester.

– Earn up to £1300 per month depending upon previous experience.

– Working with students across KS3 and KS4, providing support and covering lessons in line with the National Curriculum. 

– Applications are urged ASAP as interviews will take place as soon as schools are able. 

Applications are being accepted from graduates with Languages experience, preferentially French, Spanish, German and Italian but other languages will be considered. This is due to the National Curriculum focussing predominantly on the named languages. 

The successful MFL graduates will work full-time as a Teaching Assistant, and will provide interventions to pupils, learn how to plan deliver and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum and obtain training around topics such as Progress 8, Differentiation and Effective Behaviour Management.
