This role will work collaboratively with Medical team colleagues across a portfolio of products.
The medical affairs areas you could be involved in are:
Medical Oncology
Medical general
You will partner with the business to ensure key processes are completed in an effective, compliant and timely manner.
Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Build a good knowledge of the TA related disease area, Medical Affairs, drug development, the healthcare system and IPHA Code
Support activities and logistics as part of the Medical Affairs Plan such as
Advisory Boards
Managed Access Programs
Medical education meetings and projects
Data generation projects
Work with broader team (field & office) to ensure operational excellence
Support the Medical Affairs team to leverage clinical/scientific data
Support the TA by reviewing promotional and non-promotional materials, to ensure scientific integrity of content
Support the delivery of medical plans by uploading and referencing medical educational materials in FUSE
Support the development of high quality and timely briefing materials/training on relevant appropriate data and may deliver internal training as required
Provide administrative support as required, for example:
Budget management for projects and logistics
Co-ordination of team meetings
Organisation of itineraries and logistics for ongoing activities
Compilation of materials and information to support any complaints process
Ensure compliance with relevant policies and standard operating procedures.The successful candidate will benefit from:

Making a difference to patient's livesWe are looking for an individual who can meet the following criteria:
Educated to degree level in any Science subject
Experience within UK/Ireland healthcare and /or pharmaceuticals environment is an advantage, but not necessary
Clear motivation and ambition to gain experience in a medical affairs environment
Ability to evidence skills which are transferable to the business environment (e.g., good time management, teamwork) experience of successfully working with teams through work, academic and/or extracurricular activities
You will be able to demonstrate
Proactivity – ability to work independently and proactively under own initiative, taking responsibility and driving projects and activities to a successful conclusion
Analytical thinking – can understand and use complex data and can communicate complex data to a wide range of professional and lay audiences, adapting their wording and style to suit

Fluency in English – verbal and written – is required
You will be IT savvy and highly proficient with Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, PPT skills and Word at Advanced Level)Additional Information
Please ensure that you are willing and able to live within commutable distance of the company site before applying. This placement is based in Dublin, Ireland and we would like you to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week, to aid your development in working with and learning from your team. You will need to be eligible to work in Ireland.
