Are you a recent Maths Graduate looking for a teaching role in a Secondary school?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a Secondary school in the Derby area who are currently looking to recruit Maths Graduates into their team for September 2019.

This position is perfect for a recent Maths Graduate who is hoping for a future career in Secondary teaching, as it will provide experience before entering into a teacher training programme.

* Maths Graduates are welcome to apply for this position

* Part-time and full time positions available for September 2019

* Working alongside the class teacher, and supporting students in classes

* Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher

* Work with occasional challenging behaviour and promote positive behaviour management

* Gain invaluable experience prior to beginning teacher training/PGCE

* Earn up to £350 per week, dependant on experience

The school is in need of extra staff to guarantee students are supported and that teachers also have the help they require in the classroom. As a Graduate Teacher within our client school, responsibilities will include working 1:1 with identified pupils that require additional support within Maths lessons.

Further responsibilities incorporate supporting the class teacher, covering pre-planned Maths lessons in the absence of the teacher and delivering intervention sessions to raise overall pupil attainment. This experience will enhance future teacher training applications, and could result in a direct placement with the client school.
