Are you a Graduate of Maths and considering a future pathway into Maths teaching?

• Maths Tutor – Maths Teaching Assistant
• 1:1 and whole class Maths support across KS3 and KS4 including GCSE tuition.
• Part-Time Maths Tutor role for the remainder of this academic year. 2-3 days per week.
• £65 – £70 per day

Maths Tutor | This Secondary School based in Beccles, Suffolk is looking to appoint a Maths Tutor to provide 1:1 and full class support across the school.

The Maths Tutor placement will see you:

– Providing support to students across the 11-16 age range in Maths
– Delivering 1:1 tuition, helping with exam preparation and providing whole class support
– Working with students of varying ability ranges throughout the academic year.
– Planning and delivering engaging tuition sessions designed to inspire young learners and raise attainment.
– Trained in the school’s marking and assessment systems to give you the tools needed to track student progress and really make a difference!
– Observing and working closely with qualified Maths Teachers to allow you to see how lessons are planned, delivered and assessed

This Beccles based Secondary School has modern facilities and motivated students who are eager to learn!

To be considered for this Maths Tutor role you will need a degree of 2:2 or higher in a Maths related discipline or a Maths A-Level of C or above. Previous experience providing tuition or working in a support capacity with young learners is desirable but not essential. You will need to demonstrate strong subject knowledge in maths, have a patient and enthusiastic nature, and a genuine desire to teach Maths!
