Description
The Korean Speaking Graduate Accountant role is to provide accounting, reporting and accounts payable support to the FSSC teams, from the day-to-day operational issues impacting the group through to the month end financial reporting process. You will be involved in on-going financial transformation and automation projects (including contributing to the FSSC's RPA programme). This will be a varied role that requires very strong finance, numerical and system skills, and an aptitude to further develop additional financial systems skills quickly.
The Korean Speaking Accountant' is responsible for the following key outputs and accountabilities:
Banking and Cash
Assisting with Daily Bank Reconciliations.
Understanding the global cash sweeping arrangements.
Assisting daily treasury confirmations and settlements.
Tax
Assisting with the preparation of various tax returns and statistical data returns
Accounts Payable for multiple office, products and logistics costs
Exception handling of non-matched invoices to Purchase Orders in Concur System.
Handling and reducing queries from Vendors regarding payment of invoices.
Inputting new banks and maintaining banking master data in SAP.
Assisting with multiple payment runs.
Month End
Preparation of month end accruals journals and schedules.
Assist with production of P&Ls and flash pack and collation of additional analysis from commercial team.
Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
Cost centre reporting.
Assisting with month end audit files.
Controls
Owning a number of Key Controls and assisting with the monitoring of Group wide key controls in the central controls system.
Budget
Assist with collation of the annual budget and an additional Profit Forecast.
General
Ad hoc implementation and new country projects.
Systems and process improvements – including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Machine Learning
Profile
Korean & English Speaking
The ideal candidate will be a Degree Qualified Graduate with finance experience and ambitious to make their mark. They may be looking to start, or have already started, a financial qualification such as CIMA or ACCA.
Experince in another finance role
Superior numeracy skills, problem solving, excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with good excel experience.Job Offer
Salary £30,000 – £35,000
