Junior/Graduate/Intermediate Electrical Engineer required whom is ideally based within the Home Counties but must be willing to travel and lodge away.
Initially the successful candidate will be based at a project in Knutsford, Cheshire. This project will run until the end of February/ Early March. From there our client is expecting to be successful with another Generator project in Northampton, so being able to travel/stay away from home is a must.
Our client also operates as the Principle Contractor so a Knowledge of the CDM Regulations would be a benefit [SMSTS preferred but SSSTS a minimum requirement]
* Reporting into the Project Manager on progress and any key issues and hold up points.
* Pre-construction pricing handover meeting with Commercial Team & PM
* Updating of Cost Ledger
* Attend Internal W.I.P meeting with Commercial team, & PM
* Production of Procurement Schedule
* Feed into PM for creation/update RFI schedule
* Creation of company RAMS & Approval of Sub-Contractor RAMS – Issue RAMS and place on ePermit
* Ensure Application of Permits and checking receipt of permits with relevance to work faces with the DOC
* All Site H&S issues and upkeep of the H&S file
* Validation & Surveys
* Carry out all necessary Validations/Surveys for the Phase 1 & or Phase 2 works and submit Reports on findings
* Drawing production from initial construction to actual into Record Drawing
* Checking works carried out as stated on the night report.
* Ordering any materials required by the supervisors:
* Creation of Material requisites and Quote requests
* Issue Quotes to DOC to Place on Order
* Collation/Production of Tech Subs & Updating Schedules
* Quality Assurance throughout the project [snagging of works and acceptance of work areas from Sub-Contractors]
* Creation of TWC's & Tracker schedule
* Creation of Hand Over Packs
* 8-week labour look ahead and issue to PM
* Attending site meetings.
* Ensuring Supervisors & Sub-Contractors have the correct information, and it is understood
* Liaising with other Sub Contractors on co-ordination issues.
* Planning of works incl. weekend working and who is to carry out these works
* Aiding in the costing of Client instructions that may arise during the Project
* Witness testing
* Weekly commissioning look ahead against the Commissioning Programme
