Junior/ Graduate Quantity Surveyor

As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our projects by assisting in the effective management of costs and contracts related to scaffolding services. Working closely with senior quantity surveyors and project managers, you will gain hands-on experience in accurately estimating costs, evaluating tenders, tracking project expenses, and contributing to the financial success of our endeavors.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely estimates and tenders for scaffolding projects.
* Collaborate with project teams to assess project requirements and scope.
* Assist in conducting site visits to evaluate project conditions and gather relevant data.
* Assist in analyzing project costs and suggesting cost-effective solutions.
* Contribute to the preparation of contract documents, bills of quantities, and procurement schedules.
* Support in monitoring project expenditures, variations, and budgets.
* Assist in negotiation and procurement of materials and services.
* Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth project execution.
* Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying.
Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel, cost estimating tools, and project management software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to tasks.
* A team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
* Prior experience or internships in construction or quantity surveying (preferred but not mandatory).
