our London based client is a well-established building surveying practice that provide the full range of professional and projects based building surveying services to their wide and varied client base. Having recently trained two grads over the last year into good junior building surveyors who have received excellent support for their APC, they are now looking for their next graduate/ junior building surveyor to join their team.
The Role
They currently have a vacancy for a graduate building surveyor or trainee building surveyor to join their well established and experienced team. You will get to shadow senior / chartered building surveyors who will support and mentor you on your APC to get chartered. Job description
As a trainee Building Surveyor you will work on a wide range of projects and professional services in the industrial, residential and commercial sectors. The role would suit client-focussed, motivated individuals wishing to join a thriving firm. With the support and guidance of senior members of staff you will get the opportunity to develop skills in the following tasks
Principal tasks will be:
building surveys and report writing
Design & Specification writing.
dilapidations
Tendering & Procurement.
Contract Administration and Project Management.
Feasibility Studies.
CDM/Principal Designer.
The Person Specification
In order to be considered for this role you MUST HAVE a building surveying degree or MSc in building surveying and live or be willing to move to London. Finally you must already have the right to work in the UK indefinitely as unfortunately the company aren’t able to offer any sponsorship now or in the future
