Job Title: Product Support Analyst

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

Location: Whitstable, Kent

Are you an analytical person with an inquisitive mind? Do you have experience working within claims/Underwriting/insurance? If the answer is yes then you may be the perfect candidate for our Product Support Analyst position.

About Our Client My client is a leading and expanding motor insurance group who are renowned for their staff reward and recognition and are ranked highly in The Times Top 30 Big Companies to work for. They are currently recruiting for a Product Support Analyst to join their expanding team in the Whitstable area.

Role Purpose:

Working in a growing, busy office environment, you will be assisting the Quality Assurance Team Leader and developing the team of analysts on all testing tasks

Key Responsibilities:

* Ability to handle & effectively carry out the testing across multiple projects and /or tasks

* Quality testing of internal or external quotation systems including liaison with third party testers, software houses & product developers as required.

* Responding to issues & requests for change, raising with external parties where appropriate & managing through to resolution.

* Support the scheduling of rates updates & fixes in accordance with resource available.

* Ensure all rates updates are completely tested and signed off within the agreed timescales.

* Maintain & update test pack in line with monthly rate reviews.

* Production of test metrics to track the test windows and its content

Key Skills and Knowledge:

* Ability to understand and respond to business demands in a rapidly changing business environment

* Accuracy and meeting test deadlines

* Good overall knowledge of IT

* Strong analytical skills, good problem assessment & an ability to prioritise.

* Previous Experience within a testing environment

* Understanding of the system change process / audit trails and process flows etc.

* Ability to quickly learn various internal / external insurance processing systems and applications
