The Company:

The company are an innovative and entrepreneurial group of companies specialising in Motor Insurance Services who are an Investors in People Gold Champion organisation.

The Role:

Working as a Technical Policy Investigator you will investigate motor insurance policies with indemnity queries, misrepresentation and Fraud concerns. Working as part of a diverse team of Investigators acting as a referral point for the Operational teams, Underwriters and the wider business. Full training will be provided along with future progression opportunities.


Investigate policies referred by the claims teams or other departments
Review the output from our Counter Fraud system on a daily basis to identify potential fraud or misrepresentation of policies and conduct further investigation where necessary
Review Indemnity enquires in line with Underwriting criteria and Regulatory guidelines
Ensure all details of Investigations are recorded to assist with Complaints enquiries and Internal Audits
Provide assistance, feedback and mentoring to new or less experienced Investigators
Contribute to the development of internal Policy and Counter Fraud systems, by consistently providing feedback on your Investigations and for continual improvement to rules
Liaise with Technical Policy Support Assistants, Claims Handlers, Brokers and Policyholders to ensure an efficient conclusion to investigations
Adhere to the Technical Policy Best Practice Guidelines
Able to undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects when required
Adhere to Company processes

The Ideal Candidate:

Graduate with an analytical degree
Self- motivated and ability to work unsupervised
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Keen eye for detail
Good organisational skills
