Job Title: Graduate Transport Planner

Location: London

Salary Range: £20,000 – £24,000

The London-based team of a small-medium sized transport planning consultancy is recruiting for a Graduate Transport Planner, coming with a degree in Geography or Transport Planning. The position offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects across the region as part of a close-knit team, with full training & support given.

Candidate Specification:

* Degree level education in Geography or Transport Planning;

* Good report writing skills;

* Comfortable with data analysis and the use of Microsoft Excel,

* Any prior transport planning experience would be beneficial;

* Good presentation & communication skills;

* An understanding of the transport planning process.

If successful, you will contribute toward a broad range of development planning projects, with comprehensive training given from a team of experienced professionals.

The transport planning team typically offers specialist services across:

* Transport statements & assessments;

* Travel planning;

* Feasibility studies;

* Cycling & Pedestrian routes;

* Environmental assessments;

* Traffic impact analyses;

* Micro-simulation & traffic modelling.

The successful applicant will earn a starting salary of up to £24,000 and have the opportunity to be supported in progressing on to senior level.
