The Client

Aspire Rec2Rec are currently partnering a privately owned executive search firm based in London, who have been operating now for over 10 years. They have a particular focus on delivering exceptional talent into a selection of technology start-ups, healthcare technology companies, quantitative/scientifically driven investment managers as well as high-frequency trading companies worldwide. A strong focus on the American & UK market.

With offices in the heart of London, they are now seeking a graduate / trainee recruitment consultant to join the team to come in as a researcher, focusing on delivery to some of their key clients.

The Role

The successful candidate will be tasked with sourcing IT / finance professionals (contract & perm) across America & the UK via headhunting, cold calling, social media marketing, linkedin, job boards to place into clients the business already have existing relationships with.

The kind of candidates you will be speaking to on a daily basis will be some of the smartest programmers in the world, working for large hedgefunds over in America & the UK.

The company will provide full, on-the-job training to the successful applicant, they just require the person to have the willingness to make sales / deals / placements within this extremely competitive and ever growing market!

This particular type of recruitment is low volume, but extremely high level and will placing candidates earning $100K – $500K per annum, which means big commission to be earnt!

Candidate Requirements

Ideally the successful candidate will have one or more of the following:

* A minimum of 6 months within a sales / office environment (e.g. estate agency, customer service, cold calling / telesales)

* Strong academic background (minimum A-levels)

* Outgoing personality

* Money motivated (not just happy working a 9-5 job)

* Polished, professional telephone manor

The Package

* £20,000 – £25,000 per annum + commission (expected OTE Year 1 = £50,000)

* Added incentives such as "watch targets", company trips away & lunch clubs

* A clear progression pathway from trainee through to director
