Graduate Trainee in Marketing
The company, which publishes market research in global high-tech markets, is looking for a trainee in marketing support, someone who is looking to take their first step into a marketing role in a business to business (B2B) company.
Previous experience is not required as full training will be provided; however you must be a graduate, have a can-do attitude and the motivation to learn. And above all your English must be impeccable.
Company
The company is a small but rapidly expanding high-tech marketing research company, growing at 30% a year, with offices in Bristol and customers all over the world. The vacancy is at their Bristol office in Temple Meads, the big Bristol station.
We want someone who can both execute on our existing marketing ideas, and add some of their own as we go along, who can come up with innovative campaigns, not boring predictable social media chit chat and help us double our business over the next two years.
The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate possibly in any one of a number of technology subjects – but also someone who can write and has a nice turn of phrase and enjoys the use of language. On the one hand dealing with technology buzzword, on the other not prone to overhyping tech. We write about stuff like solar panels, wind turbines, virtual reality streaming and 5G. We teach you how to take us into entirely new sub-markets, by identifying the right prospects; and have you writing press releases explaining our new reports and forecasts. Some client liaison and credit control will mean talking to each of our clients politely on the phone.
On Target Earnings will be around £28,000 made up of a basic plus monthly bonus. You don't have to have done lots of this in the past, we will teach you, but you, need to throw yourself into it.
Responsibilities
* Identify entirely new target audiences by job title and function
* Trace all successful sales back to their lead sources
* Build on our successful social media strategy around LinkedIn
* Handle layout and design for reports and mailers
* Prepare mailers for email marketing campaigns
* Prepare content for our eCommerce website
* Market our webinars and podcasts

Understanding key software tools like Google Analytics, CRM and Mailchimp an advantage
Confident phone voice
