Graduate Trainee – Development (Property / Housing)
Letchworth Garden City
£22,000 per annum

Our client builds homes, not just houses – will you?

Our world is changing. Against a backdrop of financial difficulty for some and an inaccessible housing market for many, they’re here to tackle challenges familiar to us all. They have bold ambitions to build more much-needed affordable homes and to improve the services they offer to provide an easy to access, simple to use service that their customers can put their trust in.

They do all of this because they know that having somewhere to settle, even for a short while, has the power to transform people’s lives.

This graduate role will work in their growing Development team, bringing forward and delivering new homes in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. From day one you will thrive on taking hands on responsibility for a range of tasks throughout a project lifecycle, working with project teams to identify sites, design homes that meet local needs and oversee construction of high quality living environments. With support and mentoring from their experienced multi-disciplinary team, you will combine site specific delivery work with key business-wide interface projects, to get a clear understanding of how they operate and ensure they create homes that complement their commitment to straightforward trusted services that allow customers to live in their homes comfortably.

Alongside regular 121 time and progress reviews, you will be mentored by a senior member of their leadership team, to ensure your training period adds value to the business and meets your personal aims. You’ll present quarterly to the team, who manage organisational performance and influence future strategic direction.

To apply, send us your CV, outlining how your skills and knowledge overlap with our role criteria. They are open to seeing people with different degrees and backgrounds, but you will need to be a recent university graduate in order to apply.

If you are a graduate who is keen to take forward a career in residential property development while being an active member of the team, and who is passionate about solving the housing crisis, they want to hear from you
