A market-leader in the electrical & lighting products industry is looking for sales-driven and business-focused graduates to join them across the East Midlands. They sell to a huge and varied customer base including government agencies and local authorities, the hotel and leisure industry, building and construction industry, electrical engineering, industrial companies, facilities management, and power generation businesses, to name a few.

A salary of up to £24K + uncapped bonus & bespoke training from industry experts are all on offer.

As a Graduate Trainee Area Sales Manager, you will:

Complete a tailored graduate programme including a fully-funded accredited sales qualification
Receive a starting salary of £20,000 to £24,000 plus uncapped bonus with regular salary reviews
Progress to Area Sales Manager and beyond
Receive a high-spec company car (after initial training period)

You will gain valuable insight into various areas of the business, receive products and skills training, receive industry sales training and one-on-one mentoring with a senior manager.

Following an initial training period, where you will learn about electrical distribution, the product range, logistics, processes, account management, procurement and sales, you will progress to Area Sales Manager level and continue to build strong relationships with key B2B clients and suppliers. In addition to the freedom and autonomy offered to you at this level, you will also receive salary increases and a company car.

All of this should prepare you for a senior Business Manager position – becoming your own boss and being responsible for running your own multi-million-pound operation within the group.
