Penguin Recruitment is excited to be working with a consultancy made up of qualified and Chartered professionals who are able to provide a wide range of services to a variety of client -types. They are a practice of integrated development consultants, who work together alongside the client, statutory authorities and other consultants to provide carefully designed, context driven and client focused plans, buildings and ecological services. The different disciplines provided within our practice include Town Planning, Architecture, Urban Design and Ecology. They are seeking a Graduate Town Planner to join their team.

The successful candidate will have:

-A degree in Planning or similar is essential.

-Experience in a planning role is preferable but not essential.

-An ambition to pursue chartered planner status.

-An aptitude for IT and a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft suite and Google Maps.

-Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.

As a Graduate Town Planner, you will be involved in a range of projects with a range of responsibilities. Such as, identifying possible development opportunities and strategic land promotion, assisting senior planners and directors, attending planning meetings, submitting local plans and undertaking planning applications and appeals.
