Graduate Town Planner – Glasgow

Our client, an established infrastructure consultancy are looking to appoint a Graduate Town Planner to work out of their Glasgow based team. The company are renowned for delivering expert planning services for their clients within the telecommunications, advertising and renewable energy sectors.
For this role candidates are sought with:
A relevant town planning/ surveying related degree
Membership with the RTPI or RICS
Some town planning experience, preferably within a consultancy environment is advantageous but not essentialWithin the role you will be:
Undertaking site searches to identify potential new sites for development
Assisting with the preparation of planning drawings to be submitted with applications
Undertaking pre-application discussions with Local Planning Authorities
Preparing and submitting planning applications
Liaising with clients
Justifying proposals against the Local Planning and National Planning PoliciesBenefits:
