We currently offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and driven Graduate to join a leading supplier to the UK retailers as Graduate Technologist. Working with an exciting portfolio of prepared fresh produce, the position offers the opportunity to work with growers abroad, prominent fruit importers in the UK, and build key relationships across all aspects of the supply chain.
The opportunity of Graduate Technologist will work as part of the supplier focused technologist team, gaining the opportunity to take ownership of dedicated fruit categories and work closely with the head of the department, with the prospect of travel in the UK and abroad.
Responsibilities overview;
Manage allocated fruit categories, ensuring quality standards are met
Drive quality improvement initiatives for raw material and production processes
Manage Compliance documentation, Audit schedules, Supplier Risk Assessments
Working with suppliers to ensure compliance, efficiency, and effective communication to ensure the successful supply of quality product categories
Requirements;
Education / Degree gained within a relevant Agricultural / Food / Fresh Produce subject
Experience gained within the Fresh Produce and / or Food sectors would be highly advantageous, with exposure to Fruit categories proving highly beneficial
With regular supplier communication, both UK and Worldwide based, languages would be advantageous, with Spanish desirably.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically driven individual, currently working in a Technologist, Technical Assistant or Supplier focused capacity to gain their next role within the sector or a Graduate with a placement year who is now looking to gain their first career opportunity within the sector.

Salary; £28k+
Hours; Monday – Friday, with flexibility to travel
