The Company

Airflow Cooling Ltd specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of Mechanical HVAC/R systems and has a track record of delivering challenging mechanical projects up to a value of £750k within the health care, education, leisure, food retail and commercial sectors.

Due to continued success and growth of the business we are seeking to employ a Graduate Technical Author who will be expected to gain a good understanding of our AC/heating/plumbing commercial projects to enable the production and management of the following technical documents:

Role & Responsibilities

* User and administrator manuals.

* Technical documents for installation/support.

* Product and system parts lists.

* Bespoke technical manuals for clients.

* Systems design documents.

* Understanding and assistance with Risk Assessment documentation.

* Systems design documents including FAT’s (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT’s (Site Acceptance Tests).

* Support Commercial Director to prepare technical documents for tenders.

Qualifications, Experience & Key Skills

* Degree in an engineering discipline relative to the job description provided above.

* Experienced in the use of AutoCAD LT.

* Experienced in preparing and managing technical documentation.

* A high degree of self-motivation and very adaptable.

* Ability to learn quickly.

* Can work efficiently to meet project deadlines.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work as part of a team or individually.

* The ability to use initiative when necessary.

Remuneration

* Salary: £22,000

* Performance Related Bonus Scheme

* Company Pension Scheme

* Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, 8.30am – 5pm Mon to Fri (with out of hours support)

* Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays
