£85 – £90 per day depending on experienceTo be considered for this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to be a graduate who has a passion for education and good communication skills.
No previous experience is required just a degree. The school would like to see graduates who have a confident personality and will want to support students who might have additional learning needs ie dyslexia.
As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be working within the learning support department. You will be supporting the department and get the most out of providing students support in and out of the classroom, supporting their academics and social needs. You will be required to implement strategies to support the students, additional duties which could be lunch and break duties, running small interventions and group sessions and engaging with senior leaders and parents maybe. A teaching assistant with learn and be supported by a number of staff, be taught how to plan and differentiate. Teaching Assistants at this school lead mentor groups supporting GCSE and A-level student in small groups and 1-1 sessions
