A large Primary school in Barking and Dagenham, East London is looking for a creative graduate who is able to support pupils with Special Needs.

The school is looking to meet with a recent graduate who looking to explore a career in Education either as a Teacher or an Educational Psychologist. You should be a Graduate who is able to think on their feet and adapt to any situations that arise. Experience working with SEN pupils is not essential but any childcare experience would help your application.

Your role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant will be to work as part of the schools learning support team working with Special Needs pupils. You will be working under the direction of the schools SENco who oversees all support for SEN pupils within the school. The main part of your role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant will be to work 1-1 with a specific child inside the classroom and during lunch and break times. You will also be asked t lead small group intervention classes working leading on Reading and Writing.
