THE GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT WILL
It is important for the school that they meet a Teaching Assistant with a passion for education, someone supportive, someone who wants to inspire, challenge and motivate students to achieve beyond their expected potential.
These vacancies are designed for someone who can utilise their own initiative and use this as a real chance to develop their own teaching style before their PGCE potentially.
THE IDEAL GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT WILL:
This Graduate Teaching Assistant job will see the successful graduate working across the school to help attainment and progress.
The Graduate Teaching Assistant will be working closely with GCSE and A-Level students
provide booster sessions which will concentrate on exam practice
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE:

Duration: 1 academic year
End date: tbc
Contract Type: contract via agency
Full time/ Part time: full time ideally
Minimum rate of pay: £11 -£13 Per hour
Hours: 8:15am – 3:30pm Full day
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Graduates must have minimum 2:2 Degree
No previous experience in education required
GCSE
A Levels
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT JOB THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references
