Person Specification
We are looking for a competent graduate who has achieved a 2:1 or above in your degree and worked with children in either a volunteer or paid role. The school needs a graduate who has a clear, efficient approach to communication and the unflinching determination to build a teaching career. Ideally, the school need a graduate who is able to enjoy working in a more relaxed environment helping with extracurricular creative activities or sports teams. You must show the ability to bring bundles of enthusiasm to the classroom and empathise with your pupils.

About the Role
In this KS1 Teaching Assistant post you will be supporting classes as and when needed within the KS1 phase. Day-to-day, you will be learning the best classroom practice from an experienced teacher who is keen to share expertise with you. Day-to-day, you will be developing your teaching experience and understanding of the curriculum through leading your own 1:1 sessions and leading small booster and intervention groups. The staff work well under the clear direction of the caring Senior Leadership Team and you will thrive in this nurturing culture.
