The school are looking for a minimum 2:1 graduate who has ideally gained some experience in a similar setting supporting pupils either academically or through clubs or summer camps. Prior experience in this field demonstrates your passion and knowledge for this sector!

The school are particularly interested in a Graduate Teaching Assistant who is thinking about teacher training and want to go through a salaried 2-year program with the school giving you PGCE and QTS! This program offers an alternative to the standard route into teaching, offering a 2-year program that builds your confidence and responsibility at the same time, whilst being paid to learn!

Responsibilities of Graduate Teaching Assistant

>Support in a range of lessons across Key Stage 1 and 2 outside of your allocated class
>Under supervision, take pupils out for 1:1 and group sessions in grammar, English and mathematics.
>Commit to general staff duties school-wide such as planning resources, marking/setting homework and preparing lesson materials.
