Are you looking for a full time Teaching Assistant starting this September?

If so, there are a number of opportunities for bright and hardworking graduates. Schools are looking for newly graduates who have aims and ambitions of starting a career within education, whether as a Primary Teacher, Educational Psychologist or Speech and Language Therapist.

Are you keen to build up your confidence and experience within the classroom, working as a mainstream Teaching Assistant in either a general or SEN capacity?

Graduate Teaching Assistant requirements:

• Graduates ONLY to apply – 2:1 degree or above required

• Legal right to work in the UK

• Subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or overseas Police clearances (if applicable)

• Strong communication skills

• Willing to work with different primary age groups

To be considered for these roles, all applicants must be a passionate graduate who has spent time in a role where you worked closely with children, whether paid or voluntary. I want to meet graduates who can work in a classroom, able to communicate and support a varied range of learners. Specialism in Maths, English, Science, Drama, Art or P.E are highly desirable.

You must possess a keen interest to assist with extra curricular activities and an optimistic attitude towards learning. There are a number of roles available, our client schools are looking for down to earth, enthusiastic, hard working and intelligent individuals, who have aspirations of going on to become the next generation of teachers and public sector specialists.

All teaching Assistant positions available this September are full time and will see you working within a mainstream Primary school, whether in within the Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.

You will be working in class, offering support to the class teacher and those pupils who have additional learning needs. These roles will require versatility and determination, with daily challenges coming your way and in need of a calm head. As a teaching assistant you will have the opportunity and responsibility of taking intervention and booster groups as well as supporting 1:1 sessions inside and outside of class.
