Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 dependant on experience
Location: Doncaster

Are you a recent graduate or similar, looking for an interesting and all-embracing opportunity working in stock control for a family-run, well established, food manufacturing, agricultural business located in the Doncaster area. You will be joining a small team of friendly people in an open office environment and have full responsibility for forecasting, production planning, ordering raw materials and ensuring that stock is organised and logged correctly, maintaining accurate Excel records. -Handling incoming enquires via telephone and email
-Building knowledge of suppliers and customers
-Ordering raw materials and ensuring goods are delivered on time
-Scheduling production
-To be responsive to changing events
-Communicating updates and lead times to customers and colleagues
-Producing delivery notes for drivers
-Arranging collections for customers
-Raising customer invoices
-Carrying out physical quarterly stock takes
-Keeping stock updated on computer systems
-Forward stock planning, monitoring upcoming levels of demand
-Arranging services for onsite vehicles

-Strong communication and organisational skills
-Ability to handle numbers with assurance and accuracy
-Capable IT skills – particularly Excel
-Ability to prioritise and to think for yourself
-Excellent telephone manner with strong customer service skills
-Access to own transport, please note that the location is not accessible by public transport

The ideal candidate would have:
-Previous experience in stock control
-A knowledge of UK geography to aid transport planning

-£20,000 – £25,000 depending on experience
